Questions from the repair stand

Frequently asked questions

Do I need prior bicycle repair experience?

No. Foundations courses start with names, tools, and wheel preparation before introducing the complete tire change.

Which tools should I have nearby?

Most basic lessons use tire levers, a compatible pump, a spare tube, and a clean place to work. Each course lists its own preparation notes.

Are the courses for every bicycle?

The catalog separates standard, touring, cargo, folding, rim-brake, disc-brake, and tubeless topics so you can choose a relevant starting point.

What does Fallows save?

Fallows saves course IDs in your browser’s localStorage. It does not create an online account or transmit your list.

Can I change a tire without removing the wheel?

Some repairs can be attempted in place, but our lessons teach wheel removal where appropriate because it creates a clearer and safer working position.

How do I know the tire is seated correctly?

Check that the bead line is even around both sides of the rim before reaching your normal riding pressure.

Do you teach tubeless systems?

Yes. Tubeless Overview introduces sealant, valves, beads, and plug repairs while explaining when a more experienced workshop is appropriate.

Can I ask about my particular bicycle?

Yes. Use the contact form with your bicycle type and the part of the process that feels uncertain.
